f you were a fan of "L.A. Law" from the mid-1980s to early 1990s, you'll certainly remember attorney Abigail "Abby" Perkins. Michele Greene filled that role admirably, garnering applause from both critics and TV devotees. In 2002 she and other cast members reprised their roles in L.A. Law: The Movie. Greene was born in Las Vegas, attended Fairfax High School in Los Angeles, then studied acting in the University of Southern California's acclaimed fine-arts program. Soon after earning her bachelor's degree from USC, she won the role of Judy Nuckles in the Steven Bochco series "Bay City Blues" (1983). It didn't last. But Bochco's next creation, "L.A. Law," did. In fact, it became a huge, multi-year hit, winning many Emmys. Greene herself was nominated as Best Supporting Actress in 1989. She left the cast of "L.A Law" in 1991 to focus on her musical career and other acting opportunities.
